college.

i still talk to joshi for unknown reasons.
why you still in school

i finally got tired of people asking my why I wasn't in school. I spent six years after high school doing work and paying bills and stuff, and after six years of shitty jobs and bills I could barely afford, I decided I wanted to have a career and so I am doing the school thing.

Actually real talk I found a fountain machine in Allentown that has a Surge panel.  It doesn't dispense Surge, though, but some weird dark green beverage that creates the thickest fucking foam I have ever seen.  Part of me is worried that whatever it's dispensing used to be Surge.

I almost drank it, but I'm pretty it would have killed me.

I thought you did drink the Surge and got sick? Or was that McGwiggles?
I am glad SurgeQuest was a thing though.

Does anyone here have "City Escape Doh," a version of Escape From the City with every instrument replaced by samples of Homer Simpson shouting "D'oh!"? It was posted back on the MC by Gecko Yamori, I think as a .mod file.  If anyone has the original file, upload it now, please.  If you have it in any other formats those are fine too.  I need this file.  For justice.

Time is of the essence.

David the Lurker is like a shining light of hope, and love.  He is a model citizen, a pinnacle of humanity, humility, masculinity.  Charity.  Compassion. There are not enough adjectives to accurately describe Mr. David "Lurker" Frisk's divine greatness.  I love you, David.  Thank you.

He made a little boy's dreams come true tonight.

So, I'm not actually coming back, but I did see this when I was coming back to fix my profile back from "Spartacus."
Since before I left I had been taking on a lot of different projects that have begun to really bear fruit in the last couple months.

First off: I was recently in a couple audio dramas! I've started working with 19 Nocturne Boulevard, a great series of speculative fiction, sci-fi and horror audiodramas. The first one, A Date with Dana had me doing a couple of bit parts. It was only a few lines, between two characters, but I had a blast doing it! And it led to a couple more significant roles in the next production, Hot Ginger Bread, where I got to do a lot of fun, if a bit painful, stuff with my voice. I don't know if you know this, but it's very difficult to have any other inflection than parrot when doing an impression of a parrot. I've got a few more things in the works with Julie, the producer/writer/director or 19 Nocturne, so I'll update this as they come out if any one is interested. The series is really great despite my involvement, and if anyone here likes old-timey radio dramas or great sci-fi they should check it out!

I'm still doing the actual play podcast I posted about a while ago: The Quest for the Book of Sorrows, which is still going strong. We just recorded what was supposed to be the last session yesterday. My character, Trask Girdlerender, has become something of the fan favorite and star of the podcast (something I really never intended). Apparently our DM gets emails all the time about people loving my character and how zany he is. It's a bit weird to think about, but it does make me happy to be entertaining to people. I never thought I would have fans.

The above podcast also led me to becoming a co-host of another D&D podcast: The Save or Die Podcast, a podcast about classic D&D from the late '70s up to the early '90s. I've had a lot of fun doing it so far and may even be setting up something with NEONCON this year under its name. I'd love to get a panel going, but more than likely I'll probably just run some games under their name.

I was also recently on Thac0's Hammer, an AD&D 2E podcast talking about the Birthright campaign setting, my personal favorite D&D setting.

Aside from all this podcasting, I've recently taken up guitar again and have been working on my personal campaign setting for my home games. If you guys find yourself with some spare time, go ahead and give what I've been doing a listen and let me know what you think! I'd love feedback!

I also would like to take the time to post some personal info if you guys ever need to get a hold of me for anything:

I love how Snooky-fuckums-obviously-a-joke-account is defending Luckett like he's some sort of delicate late-bloomer. Luckett has said multiple times in this very thread how much he hates this forum and its users. Seems to me this was just the kick in the pants he needed to move on.

I know he won't read this, but, Luckett I hope you start your project. As I said, from the times I've talked to you outside of this place, you're a genuinely interesting guy. I don't think this was about hating you, it's just fun to see you overreact to stuff.

Hopefully this place will quiet down and finally die out. I think I'm gonna take his advice and log out and remove the address from my bookmarks.

Pretty much what Joshi said: luckett's post are fun because he is such an unbelievable person (not necessarily in a positive way).

He just needs to get over himself a bit if he genuinely means all the shit he spouts. Have a bit of fun once in a while, guy.

I was in on this a good week before this topic was starte and I was sort of sad at how little luck-rage it actually generated.

I think the main problem a lot of people have with you Luckett is that your go to rhetoric in conversation here is "I can't believe you aspies, I am so much more grown up than you," which quite honestly makes me treat you with about as much respect as the ten tear old you're emulating. Other times you're arguing with people about their tastes in video games like it's some sort of gravely important geopolitical issue. You come off as someone too self obsessesed and egotistical who can't be anything other than some sort of characiture as opposed to an actual human being.

I'm actually astounded that some one like you actually exists, let alone functions and gets on, in this day and age. And you do! A lot better than a lot of other posters here! And from what little I interact with you it only seems to happen here. I can recall having a couple of genuinely good conversations with you in #lemonade a couple years ago, so why is it that you're nothing but a complete twat when you post?

As for the forum getting closed I can agree, I wasn't even checking this place but once or twice a week till I saw this topic.
(I apologize for any mispelling and grammatical errors, I typed this up at work on my iPod)

How dare we? After all humor is an objective concept.

I feel bad that Robert "Video Games is Serious Business" Luckett is disappointed in me.

I watched an episode yesterday and I mostly agree with SuitCase. I don't really see the appeal. The characters are generic, the voice acting is okay and the animation is really good. It kinda just feels like Foster's Home for My Little Powerpuff Pony Girls to me.

When he does actually do a "voice" it's fantastic! There always so silly.

GTO already got a dub, didn't it? I distinctly remember Steve "in everything but never really doing a 'voice'" Blum playing him.

Oh and also: Who gives a shit?
