Somehow we got Firefox out of it, but I forget the details.

Firefox (or rather, Mozilla) was supposed to be the super new complete-from-scratch rewrite of Netscape, but it took for friggen ever, which is why nobody makes the connection anymore.

Another instance of Atwood's Law.

My only idea right now is to use a remote desktop connection to connect to the computer and "stream" input as well as output.
I doubt that would be any good performance and frame-rate wise though, so I don't know.

E: I also don't know if RDP is capable of streaming game controller signals, in case you're intending to use that.

Some quality shit right here.

We could arrange something for Easter, I guess?

Eh, I've had a secret santa gift exchange this year (and the previous year) with my own little community and even though only 6 joined in in total, it worked out pretty well. I can't see why it shouldn't work on here.

Plus, there's all sorts of other occasions one could arrange a "secret gift exchange" for.

I got a new trenchcoat and a bunch of chocolates.
A friend of mine gifted me Scribblenauts Unlimited on Steam, which I'm quite looking forward to.
(It's not released in Europe yet, so I can't actually play it until January I think)

I read Fifty-Thousand Shades of Grey and I can only say it was worth every cent.

I'm not sure if I should get it for myself, as I don't often have anyone to play with, so ya.
It's mostly the inevitable gadget aspect that's pulling me, but I think I'll have to pass for now.

Delicious when cooked properly and added to pasta.

I would love to see people discuss politics without tossing in the word "fuck", as it always boils down to "WELL YOU'RE NOT IMMEDIATELY FUCKING BELIEVING WHAT I AM SAYING SO I AM FUCKING DONE WITH YOU", congrats, that means the entire conversation was pointless and neither of you made any headway whatsoever. As important as politics are, debating them in such a fashion means nothing and goes nowhere. You're both walls that have gained the ability to shout at one another like anything is going to happen.
Yet, I am still baffled by how any WOMAN could have ever voted for Romney, and yet I saw so many. That'd be like the nation's men voting for a guy who promises to castrate all men at the age of 18  or something.

I found a fine specimen for your description:

I'm on #Stevenchan on every day, almost all the time from ~9AM-12PM (CEST).
Might be interesting to have a chat with some of you people sometime, I wouldn't mind that being somewhere else either.

I want to do a board software with the fidelity of IRC, but the persistence of a traditional message board.

But I hate programming when I'm not at work. :(
My imageboard software (and loads of others) has auto-refresh, which I'd say comes about the closest to what you want?
Or at least I'm sure you could also create a theme for it that strips all the unnecessary tags so it looks like a chatroom, but supports complex formatting options, etc.

I for one just wish the rest of the world wouldn't make such a big deal out of all of this stuff as well every damn election. The news for any other country fall short with one mention of who won and that's about it. And to be honest, I'd prefer it that way for the US as well. After all, I have no influence on this at all, so the only thing that matters to me is the outcome.

Anyway, I'm glad that Obama won again, although it wasn't really a surprise.

Working full time as a programmer now, so my free time has been reduced by quite a bit. Otherwise I've been continuing my work on my website and other projects and started learning Japanese.

I haven't been drawing much in the last couple of months and I'm having trouble picking it up again. Hopefully I can fix that behaviour again though.

I have a Dreamcast (PAL) that I don't use and don't think I have the package to anymore, so it's just collecting dust in the corner of my room somewhere. I guess I could do without it. I also have Chu-Chu-Rocket for it, as well as Sonic Adventure.
I'd have to see if I can get a big enough package to send it out though and how much it would cost.

But people will still rather get to know her if others modify her works and distribute it further through that than when they don't at all.

Yeah that kinda pissed me off as well.
I really don't get what's supposed to be wrong with editing things and re-using them.
I mean, ok, you probably won't get recognition for your initial effort if the guy who re-uses it doesn't credit you, but why does that matter?
Shouldn't it be enough to know that people enjoy your works and have fun with them?
