I'm pretty sure he mentioned it because I changed my pronouns on facebook, and if you're doing something that public it's probably okay to talk about.

Yeah it only really came up briefly and Zodberg brought it up and I was a little self-conscious about it because i wasn't really ready to say it yet then.

I am obviously a bit more comfortable with saying it now.

AOL's search was powered by Excite for the longest time.

I'm not sure if you can make a Reddit that works like a basic forum does, I think you can?

On actual, not so much.  The software itself is open source, though, so I guess it could be modified to work that way?

The amount of marketing for that movie was balls to the wall insane, almost to the point of absurdity.

The only reason I say "almost" is because I'm sure they made bank on all of the merch, so it was probably worth it.

anyway the movie was okay.

The forums as good as closed then.  They're just straight up gone, now.

Which is SUPER DISAPPOINTING because Disk said he was just gonna convert them to static webpages, but then after it all zipped away he was like "oh no it's gone forever sorry."

Thanks for consigning my super heartfelt "here's how to contact me when you're missing KRR 5 years later" post to oblivion, dude >:[

I guess it's good to see Hol's analogies are still as weird and bad as always.

I'm sorry that wasn't meant as a slight!  I understand these woes.

Jesus Christ.

One of my other beloved forums, KRR, is closing up in... today.  I learned about it just a few days ago.

So I think to myself, hey, how's SER doin' these days?  I haven't checked on them in.. over a year apparently.

And then WHOOPS I'm just met with a pile of text and a big armful of sad for a place I haven't been to but still care about in my soul :(

Thanks for fixin' it!

So they act like many of the pipes in Yoshi's Island, is what you're saying, Blaze.

I know pipes didn't really act like that at the time, but it's definitely something that could have been accepted, and later on was.

From what I've heard, Twitch is doing this to prepare for being taken over by Google.

Which wouldn't make any damn sense.

There was no one fitting that description in the video.

Keef Robin's not bland!  The book thing and the fact that their weapons wear out is pretty unique!

Lucina looks a little bland though and I've heard tell (but have not confirmed) that Sakurai said she's just a clone of Marth?? Which is super baloney.

Is that the guy who stole a bunch of sprites from SFGHQ over a decade ago?

Yeah, it was.

But the guy who owned that place was French, and he can pronounce the name of his business any way he wants.

You missed a good Karty Party tonight.  We went up against Bill Trinen.

My copy of MK8 just arrived today. Apparently Drak has been doing multiplayer a lot, if you remember that goof.
And it's been AWESOME.

A lot of it gets streamed and archived at my pal Therpham's twitch channel, when she's in the race.  Even when she's not, we sometimes use it as a chat room between races.

Her voice is [...] not annoying.
Myst you and I have very different ideas of what is and is not annoying.

I remember when everybody complained that Chip was gonna be an annoying character and ruin Sonic Unleashed. Turned out, he was one of the best things about that game.
You and I also have very different ideas of what is best.  He didn't ruin the game for me, but every second he was on screen is a second in my life that I want back.

They're always trying to escape from the menu.
This has been the entirety of my experience with TPP.

I don't understand.

I don't understand how someone can look at that and go, "Yes, this is good.  This is a presentable image."

It just boggles the mind how that happened TWICE, both when Mr. Knowles made it, and when Penders saw it.
