 Welcome to the Green Knuckles Cavern. :shot!:

 blaze stop you aren't doing it right

Pleased as punch with the streamlining of exploring town. Being able to manually control characters sure will fix the stupid shit they do CONSTANTLY.

SOMEHOW Silve got in. And he went to the CoH booth and he DIDN'T get me my damn code. He is absolutely useless as my minion.
So how did that Futurama stuff pan out anyways.

Luckett called Tenniru a "fat man-titted baby" once. I am still laughing at that. He said it like 5 years ago.

Aww, that sucks. Yeah, the tickets sold out way fast this year.

I'll try grab you some swag, though. If I can.

It's for the best. Silve would just get brutally murdered by some fanboys when he'd try to explain to them why [BLANK] sucks. And then he'd just hang out at the Valve booth and annoy them endlessly in the hopes of getting hired and instead get slapped with a restraining order.

I wish I was going. Silve had intended to go so I was going to force him to grab me any of the cool stuff they'd be handing out at the City of Heroes or possible Champions Online booths since it'd just be a key you'd enter in.
...But then he was all "Wait you have to REGISTER to get in????" so he's not going since he missed that. It's likely for the best...

Hey Neo just wanted to congratulate you on becoming a Mutant.

Ugh. Silve has watched Queen's Blade and listening to him go on about it would lead me to believe it was the most messed up thing ever.
Then I read the thread on it at Something Awful and realized it was much worse.

In that first screen, you were blatantly on easiest.

The Midas Touch. I thought it'd be AWESOME but everything I touch keeps turning into a muffler! Now I overcharge evil for them...

After that sacrifice I feel we need a campaign to spread the propaganda of Shaq-Fu..
I am suggesting the launching of Operation B-52: Love Shaq.

If you do, when you choose a server choose Guardian, that's where the majority of us play.

... isn't that right, Neo and Kyoma.

I go where the drak and pals go. Ignore that they don't even fucking play now but having a ton of high levels on Virtue makes it pretty hard to go back to Guardian.

Now all those garish costumes can have garish powers to go along with them!
...I really don't think they should've shown that off with FIRE IMPS of all things considering that model looks ugly for even the year 2000. This is a victory for every Elec character that has hated blue or red electricity. Like me. I hate the red.
And the irony being that I'll likely make my Fire/Elec blasters electricity red or orange.

:Wait! Pause this blurry black and white VHS tape from 1996! ...THERE! That's him! That's the killer! Now if we could just get a clear shot of his face to prove that is him there at the scene of the first victim!
: Piece of cake. Enhance, enhance, enhance.
: We've nailed the son of a bitch!
:Wait! Pause this blurry black and white Betamax tape from 1977! ...THERE! That's his car! Enhance!
: This is a computer, not a Gandalf.
: I knew it'd be too easy.. Looks like I'll have to go down to the strip club and interview some strippers if we want to solve this case!

I really hate how nobody can grasp how freaking absurd it is that they frequently blow 8 pixels of an old tape into a full blown point blank digital camera photo. EVERY SHOW DOES IT.

Wow I played the DS game and it feels like a freaking cellphone game with how dinky it is.
The Ghostbusters theme with vocals plays every time you drive to missions, and short repeating clips from the movies soundtrack plays during everything.. Short as in maybe 10 to 15 second clips that don't even loop properly.
The basic flow of the game has you go day by day doing jobs for money, reputation, and whatever slime you can find on the job to help research new equipment. You accept a job from the billboard at the firehouse and then have to drive there.
Driving sucks. Every time you hit something you end up taking damage and driving becomes more sluggish. Nobody on the road respects the siren and will still happily plow into you. How could this get any better? You also have a time limit to get to the mission.
Once you get to the mission you just wander around and bust the ghosts and grab any slime you find for researching new equipment. This is where the game kind of falls apart, since you can often get a job that has you bust one ghost at the entrance and YAY YOU WIN. You just spent a minute driving here and 10 seconds capturing a ghost!
Once back at base, you can research new tech, build more equipment, repair the Ecto-1, and train new skills. The skills are amusing enough, but don't really make a whole lot of sense. You often need to train absolutely horrible skills to gain access to better ones that have nothing in common. You need to train Venkman's skill to taunt ghosts off his pals in order to gain access to basically any of his other skills. Winston needs his grossly expensive "Supporting Role" skill that enables him to do extra damage when not being controlled before you can get his handy skills to slowly recover health or always revive himself as long as another GB is still standing.
It feels like they had a lot of good ideas, but the gameplay is so abrupt that it just feels like the game isn't complete. It feels like something you'd pay 5 or 10 bucks for to get on your cellphone. I also appreciate how they packed it full of annoying short clips from the soundtrack, but couldn't be assed to include any voice clips ! ! ! It'd go a long way to have quips and shit when busting ghosts or getting hit instead of having everybody completely silent. >:(

I gotta admit, I've been a stickler for 85% of the games that was at E3...

...but I want to look into the Ghostbusters game. I hear the Wii version is the better version, and it has a co-op mode. Or I might get the PC version (Or both)

Does the PC, 360 or PS3 versions have online co-op? Can we cross the streams online?

PC has no online features at all. And the general opinion on the Wii version seems to be that it is a competent game, but is still pretty much a bare bones skeleton of the primary version with very truncated feeling levels.
I'm really sad that I've heard nothing but bad things about the DS version though. :( It looked like it'd be a great X-Com type game.

The Wii version has cartoony designs but they don't really resemble the cartoon. :(
Let us take this moment to reflect on XTREME GHOSTBUSTERS with its XTREME CRIPPLE who in one (and likely many more) episodes followed the team up a spiral staircase in an old mansion.
And raced to the basement or something too by himself.
..Also Egon was in an elevator with him in another episode and ranted about being old and a liability to the team since he isn't as mobile as he used to be. HE SAID THESE THINGS TO A CRIPPLE. And the show was not very well animated compared to the original show FROM THE 80'S.

...I.. I have every episode of both shows.

Truth be told Aykroyd and Ramis only touched the script up. They only claim they wrote the script and that it was a big happy reunion so they could increase interest in Ghostbusters.

Why do they pick such bad community maps. WHY. They only picked Egypt because they thought we'd be stoked to see new graphics! TOO BAD THE MAP DESIGN SUCKED AND GREATLY FAVORED DEFENSE. Nobody even know the map was multi-parts until they made adjustments to it!
