I was heavily dissapointed that Mother Brain was not a boss in Subspace Emissary, how the hell am I supposed to do any sort of Captain N Reunion type scenario with just Pit? I guess I can pretend that ROB is Gameboy, or just use Link, Zelda, or Ganondorf since they were in Captain N, but COME ON!

Another thing, I don't want to kill Pit whenever he talks and people are able to remember that is name isn't Kid Icarus, well except for Gamestop clerks, no seriously, a dozen of them kept telling me "You should reserve Brawl, it has Sonic and Kid Icarus!" and I'm all like "There's no Kid Icarus", usually it ends up with me half-succeding to convience them that "Pit" and "Kid Icarus" are not the same person, but one time it ended in "No Kid Icarus is right on the cover, what? Kid Icarus is the name of the game, no, it's Super Smash Bros. Brawl"
Also Great Maze made me pull my hair out
Anyone else dissapointed with SSE? I mean we didn't nearly get enough moments where I was like "OMG! Ganondorf and Bowser teamed up!" "Holy Shit! Yoshi smoked all of Snake's cigarettes and it resulted in Samus evolving into Snorlax, somehow", but for a platformer it was pretty fun, sadly not much more than that.

Though the only part of it other than Great Maze that was really painful was probably...
They called him PORKY! THAT'S NOT HIS NAME AT ALL! THIS IS AMERICA GOD DAMN IT! HIS NAME IS POKEY! PORKY IS A PIG, DID NINTENDO OF AMERICA EVEN CHECK THIS GAME! ROB'S PRIMARY FUCKING COSTUME IS THE JAPANESE COLORIZATION, WTF! OTACON EVEN REFERED TO HIM AS GOD DAMN ROBOT, HE'S ROB YOU LAB-COAT WETTING PIECE OF SHIT!
I think it's reasonable that Game Boy grew up to be ROB.  Both are AIs, and both are characters invented from Nintendo hardware rather than adapted from game characters.  (And Mr. Game & Watch is clearly his son.)  Sonic and Snake, being third-party characters, are naturally our counterparts to Simon and Mega Man, though which one's which is a mystery for the ages.

As for Captain N himself?  Well, the Pokémon Trainer let his Bulbasaur evolve, so his name clearly can't be Ash.  Could it be Kevin?

I dunno, he got his Charmander to evolve into Charizard, a trainer getting that far and having enough gym badges to get the Charizard to listen to him? It has to be Mr.I Don't Need To Catch Anything Ever And When I Do I Give It Away Ash

But wait... the Charizard is listening to him, and his Ivysaur evovled, finally he's using Pokemon that aren't Pikachu.

This is confusing, what trainer has only three pokemon, one of them obviously very high leveled, but isn't Ash?

Well Snake's the "Realistically-proportioned human" and Sonic's "the short blue guy".....

Yeah, but Sonic's personality is more like how Simon's was, and Snake's is... not really like Mega Man's, but he's not how Simon's was by a long shot.

Yeah, but didn't Samus already make her own appearance in Captain N? (Or am I mistaken?)

Only in the comic. She never appeared in the show simply because the staff hadn't heard of her.

The ACTUAL OFFICIAL CAPTAIN N COMIC BOOK counts.  SAID COMIC BOOK BEING Good enough for Captain SNES = SAID COMIC BOOK BEING good enough for me.

Edited because J thinks I'm dumber than his lawn clippings.

I thought it was because if they made her sound like a dude that would have been incorrect and if they made her sound like a chick that'd be massive Metroid spoilers.......

but then again, if Zebes = Metroid, King Hippo = An Actaul Hippo, Pit = Kid Icarus, and Donkey Kong = Has Volcanoes in it, then I wouldn't be suprised.
