Well, the male wireframes in Melee were Captain Falcon.
But oh! Falcon hasn't been confirmed in Brawl yet.

I love how the co-op demonstration for this mode was Sonic and Mario together.

I mean, you just know that wasn't just a coincidence.

Captain Falcon was in the original Smash Bros.; I think it's pretty much a given that he's in the game.

Ness was, too, but everyone's pretty convinced he's gone.

(Ness is not gone.)

Yeah, but that's because Ness has a REPLACEMENT from the same series. Who's going to replace Falcon (PAUNCH)?

..Someone ELSE from his series?  Maybe Ganondorf will return with that moveset and there will be some other F-Zero character with a new set?

I don't think this is the case, or at all likely, I'm just putting this foreward as something they could have done.

I like these a lot more than the old wire frames.  More interesting and varied.

But I thought Captain Falcon was so entertaining! He can't be gone! Unless they were going to give Ganandorf the almighty "OOOH YEAH!" Hump of destruction.

Captain Falcon is the flagship character of F-Zero, he's not going to be replaced.

I'm almost disappointed that THE KNEE will probably get nerfed, assuming Falcon does make his return. Ah, the fun that could be had with that...

Since Samurai Goroh and Dr. Stewart are both trophies, the only other "original four" F-Zeor char if I remember irght, is Pico. And I doubt anyone likes him.

The most likely X Candidate would be Black Shadow. GX? Well, Deathborn, probably, but I'd prefer Princia.

They probably won't bother with the Maximum Velocity or GP Legend characters, although there is a chance they'll make a reference to the anime continuity with it's "Neo Captain Falcon".

I would hope not, I've always been good with Falcon due to that (long before that video was known too)

WARNING! CHALLENGER APPROACHING! To celebrate the new board, no doubt.

Wow, Captain Olimar huh? I wouldn't have seen this coming at ALL. Should be an interesting playstyle. I just hope he doesn't become this generation's Ice Climbers.

That... might actually be pretty cool.  I liked Pikmin... just, thought it was a bit too hard.

He wields Yellow Pikmin like a Blade? LOL.

Also MORE LOLS. HE'S COMPARABLE TO MARIO IN SIZE.

Also OMG! His "Symbol" number is 22! That of course means Sakurai is -NOT DONE YET- with new franchises. There might still be hope for another third party.
