Back new Shaq Fu?  It rhymes, so you should go for it.

Is Andrusi Throwback indeed made without sanity?

Why didn't I sit down and try to beat Sonic Rush until tonight? I was at the final boss, and I found my missing copy of Golden Sun: TLA in the box for Sonic Rush while I was at it.

Yes, but for a limited time only.

You fool!  That final boss was the only thing keeping Golden Sun: TLA sealed away!

I remember when the game came out and the general consensus was "this is the best sonic game in ages! (and also it has a weird soundtrack)". Granted, Sonic Colors and Generations have come out since then so that probably changed things a bit.

I still haven't played Sonic Colors.

I love Sonic Rush's soundtrack specifically because of how weird it is.  It is very good at making me smile.

I was never part of that consensus and always maintained that the people who felt that way really weren't thinking much about the game.

it's a fucking sonic game if you're really thinking much then something has gone wrong

(something went wrong with the water area in sonic lost world 3ds holy shit game what is this gravity maze business)

none of the sonic rush ish games had a level that really "stuck" with me

boss fights were generally ok tho
I can't remember most of the stage names honestly, but I know the first one had a zone where you were apparently fighting GUN for basically no reason.

Sonic Rush was like the natural evolution of the Sonic Advance series (minus Sonic Advance 3, I like to forget that that game exists). It wasn't the greatest game of all time but it was kind of a fun and neat little time-waster.

And hey - Why would Archaemic WANT to keep Golden Sun: The Lost Age sealed away? It's a really good game!

I'd thought I'd lost the cartridge years ago. Who would have thought it was in the DS case with a game I'd never really intended to play again? What a great place to hide it forever.

Good in a gameplay sense, maybe, but not in a moral sense.  Golden Sun: The Lost Age is out to devour our young, and there's precious little that can stop it.

I'd thought I'd lost the cartridge years ago. Who would have thought it was in the DS case with a game I'd never really intended to play again? What a great place to hide it forever.
I might have!  I cram most of my DS and 3DS games into a couple of game cases.  They're both for games I'm relatively likely to replay (AA1 and Sonic Generations), but not really by design or anything, they're just the ones that were handy when I started using each of them.

(Back in the 3DS days I kept my most commonly played games in a couple of little special cases that held four each, but 3DS games don't fit in so I had to stop using that method.)

i really enjoyed advance 3 just because it was so different
For some reason I never got any of the GBA Sonic games beyond the first Sonic Advance (unless there's one I forgot about), so my only experience with Sonic Advance 3 is on an emulator.    I don't really remember how well the gameplay worked (or didn't).

Sonic Advance 3 has Chaos Angel Zone, which has some really cool music.

I hope the Sonic Advance games get Wii U virtual console treatment. They're not the best Sonic games, but I feel like they deserve more recognition than they get.

Personally my favorite music from that game was from Cyber Base or whatever it was called.  Cyber Track according to Youtube's suggestions?  Yeah, that sounds right.  At least I remember that being my favorite.  It seems weirder to me now than it used to.  Hm.

I'm hoping for 3DS VC personally, since I'm building up a nice little collection of download titles there, but man, as long as they come out somewhere.

IMO Sonic games very rarely fail in that department.  Even in the few games where the music isn't very good overall there are always a few redeeming tracks.

Nintendo has been unable to get GBA games to play on the 3DS in a manner they find satisfactory.  You are much more likely to find them on the WIi U, which is actually getting GBA games.

Those Ambassador GBA 3DS VC games are pretty ghosty. I'm guessing that's the biggest issue?

I just don't understand the point of GBA games on the Wii U. Just sort out getting them to run on the 3DS, Nintendo. That makes far more sense. I want Advance Wars ;_;

Andy, do you remember a person named Pillowchan, or Perilous Pillowchan?
