Saw this today on Gametrailers. Smile as wide as the nile was plastered on my face. Cannot wait for November

I feel like I'm the only person I know who's not too interested in it. Overused video game cliches, predictable jokes, cgi movie with celebrity voices, etc.

I have come to realize that with most of todays CGI movies, they usually put the groaners in the trailer and TV spots so that they can leave room for the funny bits and clever dialouge scenes. Also, this movie will be directed by Rich Moore, who worked on the early Simpsons episodes and Futurama

Wouldn't it be funny if this movie have a really mediocre tie-in video game?

I am guessing that the Fix-It Felix game will be either an XBLA/PSN download or an iPhone/Android game

Undoubtedly.

The cameo appearance of some actual video game villains is blowing me away.

No, it'll be a flash game.

Explosion and power up sound effects from NES Mega Man... whee

Its probably too late now, but I think Disney should have mass produced Fix-It Felix arcade cabinets and placed them in crappy pizza parlors all across the country

So, the obligatory movie tie-in game will only be for Nintendo systems

http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/2012/06/25/wreck-it-ralph-will-only-wreck-it-on-nintendo-systems/

Doesn't change the fact that game will probably be 'meh'

Does this mean the movie won't have any Master Chief in it?

Super Crossover Announcement at Sonic Boom!
Sonic confirmed to cameo in W-IR in a "Sonic Sez"-ish PSA announcement regarding an important Kid Radd-esque plot point.
Be careful not to die if you're outside of your own game; if you do, you won't regenerate! So be careful or it's Game Over!
Also, Ralph himself confirmed as playable character for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

This pleases me.

if Pixar's able to go wild multi-brand with Wreck It Ralph's videogames, maybe they can get some cross-license stuff in Toy Story 4.

I thought "The Paperman" short before the movie was pretty great too.

My original plans got screwed up to visit a friend, so I caught a late showing.

I loved it.  The writing is great especially with the incorporation of the classics.  I enjoyed spotting the parodies and Easter Eggs throughout the movie.  The voice actors are totally typecasted, but they work well in their roles, and even Sarah Silverman as Vanellope was entertaining after forgetting that she was voiced by Sarah Silverman.

Paperman was a great short before the movie.  That's the magic I love about animation.

The best thing though was that it ended up being a private screening.  Not a single distraction to ruin the movie.  Best $11 I've spent at a theater in two years.
