i actually converted 2.5lbs of this from uncooked to cooked tonight, was enjoyable

It's fairly common in supermarkets and butcher shops around my parts, honestly I'm a little surprised that anyone would find this an unusual sight.

It's actually pretty rare around here. We have ground lamb. There's prime lamb, and kobe lamb.

USA over here, Mince is so common than no one bats an eye, I have tons of it in my freezer. I LOVE Lamb meat, but only so many restaurants around here sell gyros. I believe I clocked it at two last time I went out hankering for some.

Those meatballs are okay ... but my girlfriend has made actual meatballs by hand and they are impossibly good.  They've spoiled me for freezer section meatballs forever.

I worked behind a meat counter in a supermarket once, I'd regularly have to either give beef mince or round mince to the customers, first getting aproximately the right amount on the scales and giving it to them in a plastic bag after attaching a price sticker that the weighing machine quickly calculates. This photo gave me flashbacks. Thanks a bunch yaj.
