It's worth pointing out that SER itself is 5 years old now.

Don't I know it. It falls together with the anniversary of when a whole string of other difficult and painful life events all piled up on me one after the other.

Hurrr :E

I never got fired, I just blew up because I didn't feel like ending up in the embarassing situation of having to justify to System Administration why there was furry cartoon porn involving underage characters in my internet cache.
To add onto that, the internet connection on my work computer was shut down moments after that, and to this day I'm still not sure whether it was because of the picture itself, because of them perhaps somehow seeing what I said back then, or because they just rather I didn't browse the internet during work hours in the first place. I wasn't sure how strictly the connection was monitored. But the timing was nearly spot-on, which made me kind of anxious.

I've tried. I can't remember the login information, and ALL of my files for the website are on my old, dead computer. So first I need a new computer, then transfer shit, then find my password. One day it will happen.

Oh man I have the same thing going on where all my friends are slightly younger than I, so I'm all "Hey dudes remember the show Mighty Max?" and none of them do and that pissed me off.

Yeah, I'm the "oldest friend" of my usual group as well, though I do still have a couple of other friends that are a little older than I am even.

Reminds me of when I realized my little brother had no idea what DOS was.

To answer Yajirobe's question "can a daughter be older than a mother":

Yes. I am a daughter, but I am older than my sister, who is a mother.
