Reportedly, someone commented on Mike Pollock's Facebook page quoting Sonic as saying "Rings! Nom nom nom nom nom..." at one point.
I have not found footage of this yet, but if it exists then OUR SITE NAME OFFICIALLY EXISTS IN VIDEOGAME CANON.

Her voice is [...] not annoying.
Myst you and I have very different ideas of what is and is not annoying.

I remember when everybody complained that Chip was gonna be an annoying character and ruin Sonic Unleashed. Turned out, he was one of the best things about that game.
You and I also have very different ideas of what is best.  He didn't ruin the game for me, but every second he was on screen is a second in my life that I want back.

Oh man, this... do they know? Are they actually aware at Sega that "Sonic eating rings" is a thing that's out (t)here?

Listen for the dialog in the next promo.  If you hear "not chuckle, rather flexing muscle," there might just be a guy with a thing for in-jokes on the team.

I sure hope you liked the constant dialog in Sonic Heroes, cause they managed to put even more of it in here.

I still find it hilarious that the PC version of Sonic Heroes had a hidden variable that would disable some voices that was labelled "Charmy_Shutup 1"

"No, Knuckles"

I loved the delivery on that line. It feels like they're actually having fun with this series.

They really are, Mike Pollock has repeatedly stated on his Facebook how hilarious he found some of the jokes while working on the show.

I'm more excited for the TV show than I am for the games. It seems like the writing is better and the animation looks pretty good for TV.

ProJared described his first look at the game as playing like "one of those NickToons Unite games".
...Make of that what you will.

To be fair, the first Nicktoons Unite was a pretty good game for what it was.

Hey, for some it was the only way they could get more Invader Zim, with original voice actors! Not that I ever played it.

This new cartoon looks pretty good. Better than Sonic Underground and Sonic X and honestly, better than SatAM too (although not as good as broken memories of SatAM much of the fandom has). Although Sonic Boom might have a great first two episodes and then kind of decay once an audience is hooked, or maybe the clip is just highlights. But I'm pretty optimistic that it'll be on par with the current Ninja Turtles series.

So all of these new characters that were announced the other day basically look a lot like other familiar characters.

We have...

BEN, from Treasure Planet...

A disembodied Smurf-head in a bubble... (next to what I can only imagine is Gargamel's scrotum)

Furry TF2 Engineer...

Courage the Cowardly Dog's anthropomorphic mother?

Bullion Bill and Captain Blubber from Banjo Kazooie/Tooie...

...and Dawson from the Great Mouse Detective.

Among a handful of other less interesting characters, among which a beaver they've apparently given the catchy name "Fastidious".
I shit you not.

EDIT: Oh, and of course, how could I forget... Ms. "How Many Minutes Shall It Take For Rule 34 To Appear This Time" (answer: 37).
